About Edward R. Young

Edward R. Young is an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell® who has represented clients throughout New York in personal injury litigation. He has handled catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases from initial investigation through trial, including multimillion-dollar claims.

Mr. Young received his Juris Doctor from New York University in 1975 and earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude with departmental honors, from Union College in 1972. He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest academic honor society.

Having grown up in a family construction business, Mr. Young has a firsthand understanding of the rights and concerns of workers in the skilled trades. He earned the money for law school at New York University as an apprentice plumber. That experience continues to inform his representation of clients injured in construction accidents and workplace injury cases.

Mr. Young has also served as counsel to local municipalities and as Chairman of the Ethics Committee for the Village of Lindenhurst. His practice also includes estate planning, elder law, family law, and real estate matters.
